ICU Registered Nurse - Nights Weekends

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled ICU Registered Nurse to join our team for a weekend night shift position. As an integral member of the critical care nursing staff, you will provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced Level 1 trauma hospital environment.

Schedule

This is a weekend-only night shift position, from Friday to Sunday, 7 PM to 7:30 AM.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care to patients in the ICU, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications.
• Participate in patient care planning and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care.
• Utilize advanced nursing techniques and technology, including CRRT and EVD management.
• Float to other like units as needed, ensuring seamless patient care across departments.

Required Experience/Certifications/Licensure

• Minimum 3 years of experience in acute care critical care nursing within a Level 1 trauma hospital.
• Experience with Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT), External Ventricular Drain (EVD), and Swan Ganz catheterization is required.
• Must hold an active New Jersey RN License.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
