Overview
Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Warehouse Order Picker Operator and become a vital part of our fast-paced distribution operation! In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently selecting, packing, and preparing orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and quality at every step. Using advanced warehouse management systems and heavy equipment such as reach trucks and forklifts, you will help us deliver exceptional service to our customers. This position offers an energetic environment where your mechanical skills and attention to detail will shine, supporting seamless warehouse distribution and order fulfillment processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment safely to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse
• Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems to accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping
• Conduct stock picking and inventory replenishment tasks with precision to ensure order accuracy
• Assist in shipping & receiving activities, verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation
• Perform quality control checks during picking and packing to maintain high standards of order accuracy
• Handle materials with care during handling, stocking, and packaging to prevent damage or errors
• Support warehouse supervisor in maintaining organized storage areas and adhering to safety protocols

Experience

• Prior experience operating heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, or pallet jacks in a warehouse setting
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanner technology for order picking and inventory control
• Hands-on experience with shipping & receiving procedures, order fulfillment, and warehouse distribution processes
• Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation and basic maintenance tasks is a plus
• Strong understanding of warehouse safety standards, quality control practices, and heavy lifting techniques
• Previous roles involving picking & packing, stocking, or load & unload activities are highly desirable
• Warehouse supervisor experience or familiarity with warehouse management systems enhances your candidacy
