Restoration Technician

Clients seek out Blue Kangaroo PACKOUTZ after fire, water, mold, or other damage—it's a very sensitive situation they're facing, so we work hard to make the restoration process seamless and stress-free.

We look for individuals with skills such as truck driving, warehousing, sewing, woodworking, crafting, cleaning, and other restoration-related activities. We also know that not everyone comes to us with these skills. That's why we put each specialist—those with or without training—through an in-depth and comprehensive training program. Each Blue Kangaroo PACKOUTZ member learns the entire contents restoration process while honing in on their specific cleaning or restoration skills. It's all a part of our ongoing support and training experience.

Summary of Requirements:

• Must possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Required to be drug-free.
• Demonstrates a sense of urgency, professional demeanor, positive attitude, and strong work ethic.
• Capable of frequent lifting in excess of 50 lbs.
• Ability to sustain periods of standing, sitting, walking, bending, and kneeling.
• Proficient in using mobile devices for data collection and time tracking.

Dress Code and Professionalism:

• Attire must be all black (jeans or work pants; no shorts) with long-sleeve shirts and boots (no tennis shoes).
• No visible piercings. Tattoos must be covered or presentable to ensure a professional appearance when entering properties.
• Personal hygiene is of utmost importance as you will be entering clients' homes.
• This role involves working with your hands for water, septic, sewer, and mold removal. Gloves, masks, and vests will be provided.
• You will be sent home if you do not adhere to the proper attire or hygiene standards, or if you consistently display a negative attitude.
• Must not have strong odors, such as smoke or unpleasant bodily odors.
• Must be able to stay longer if a shift runs over.

No prior experience necessary, as comprehensive training will be provided.

Compensation: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
