Details Acute care hospital setting with an attached 71-bed skilled Extended Care facility Level IV trauma center with 25 total staffed beds Work across both inpatient and outpatient settings Patient ratio of 1:6 Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday No weekend shifts required No on-call requirements Float within scope to meet facility needs as required Uses Cerner charting system in the hospital and PCC in the long-term care setting Requirements Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience required BLS certification required State license required if applicable; compact license accepted Prior travel experience required Cerner charting experience required Pending license not accepted Additional Information Responsibilities include treatment across orthopedic, neurologic, cardiopulmonary, and geriatric patient populations Perform evaluations, reassessments, and documentation including long and short-term goals and plans of care Utilize various modalities including E-stim, ultrasound, TENS, hydrotherapy, and traction Work with equipment such as crutches, walkers, gait belts, sliding boards, and sit-to-stand lifts Scrub color is flexible per facility dress code policy Free parking and free housing available First-time travelers not accepted for this position Local candidates accepted with no radius rule No RTO permitted within the first two weeks due to orientation; RTO limited to one week for the remainder of the assignment Travel pairs accepted American Traveler Job ID P-739779.
