Senior Analyst

Our client is a U.S.-based private credit firm providing flexible capital solutions to growing middle-market companies. Operating in a specialized, less competitive segment of the market, the firm invests across the capital structure in businesses often underserved by traditional lenders. Backed by a predominantly institutional investor base, it continues to expand its platform as it positions for its next phase of growth. The firm is seeking a Senior Analyst / Associate to join its Capital Formation and Investor Relations team, supporting the firm’s private credit strategies. This is a multi-functional role combining product specialist, investor relations and client service responsibilities. The priority is product-related materials, portfolio KPI analysis and analytical work, followed by investor onboarding and client service, and support for LPAC and annual meeting materials. This is not a distribution-focused sales role.

The individual will be one of two members of the team, working directly with the Head of Capital Formation and Investor Relations, a senior leader with a strong track record of mentoring and developing team members over the long term. Given the firm’s lean size, the role offers rare end-to-end exposure across the full fundraising process, from lead generation through mandate win, along with meaningful insight into strategy, execution and fund operations. Over time, the individual will take on increasing responsibility for investor relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare standard and ad hoc pitchbooks, presentations and product materials, and draft responses to DDQs, RFPs and RFIs; maintain consultant database submissions
• Conduct analytical work across the portfolio, including portfolio KPIs, deal memo statistics and data to support investor due diligence
• Field investor questions and support investor due diligence, drawing on a working knowledge of the portfolio and fund mechanics
• Support investor communications, including quarterly reports, investor letters and fact sheets
• Coordinate investor onboarding, including subscription documents, AML/KYC reviews and side letter compliance, serving as an intermediary with fund administrators and legal counsel
• Prepare materials for LPAC meetings, annual meetings, roadshows and ad hoc investor meetings, including briefing memos and logistics coordination
• Support the end-to-end capital formation function, including tracking re-up activity and preparing background materials for senior team members
• Maintain the firm’s CRM system and support senior leadership with analytics, dashboards and investor feedback summaries

Qualifications and Competencies

• 2–4 years of relevant professional experience in investment banking, leveraged finance, corporate credit, portfolio valuation, asset management, FP&A or investor relations / product specialist roles
• Corporate credit exposure strongly preferred, particularly in leveraged finance or at a sponsor-backed direct lender
• Product specialist experience is highly valued, given its exposure to fund accounting and fund mechanics
• Strong analytical and technical skills; financial modeling is not required, but the ability to synthesize data into presentations, reports and dashboards is essential
• Highly presentable, with clear and concise writing and drafting capabilities
• Exceptional capacity to learn, with the curiosity and drive to learn independently
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines
• Self-motivated, collaborative team player with proven cross-functional coordination skills
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and CRM systems; experience with consultant databases, AI tools and research systems (Bloomberg, PitchBook, etc.) a plus
• Knowledge of private fund structures and operational processes a plus
