Project Manager - Underground Utilities

Construction Project ManagerA well-established underground utility contractor in the Indianapolis market is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee water, wastewater, sewer, and underground infrastructure projects.This is an opportunity for a proven Project Manager who understands both the operational and financial sides of heavy civil construction and can successfully manage multiple projects from preconstruction through final closeout.Key ResponsibilitiesManage multiple underground utility and water/wastewater projects simultaneouslyDevelop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and cost controlsManage projects from preconstruction and estimating through completion and closeoutCoordinate with field crews, superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, municipalities, and project stakeholdersReview plans, specifications, contracts, and project requirementsManage RFIs, submittals, change orders, contracts, billings, and project documentationTrack job costs, labor, equipment, production, and overall project profitabilityConduct project meetings with operations and subcontractorsPerform site visits to monitor production, quality, and safetyManage owner and subcontractor contractsAssist with estimating, site surveys, and project planningMaintain accurate financial reporting, forecasting, and project P&LEnsure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budgetQualifications3+ years of construction/project management experienceWater/wastewater or underground utility construction experience strongly preferredExperience managing municipal underground infrastructure projectsStrong knowledge of water, sanitary sewer, excavation, trenching, and underground constructionExperience with project budgets, forecasting, cost accounting, and P&L managementAbility to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and contractsStrong leadership and communication skillsExperience coordinating field operations and subcontractorsProficiency with Microsoft Excel and construction/project management softwarePrimavera/P6 experience is a plusWhat's OfferedCompetitive base salaryAnnual bonus potentialMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) matchingPaid time offTuition assistanceLong-term career growth with an established underground utility contractorIf you're an experienced Project Manager with a background in water/wastewater, underground utilities, or heavy civil construction and are interested in exploring a strong opportunity in the Indianapolis market, I'd like to connect.For additional information on this opportunity, please contact Tysen Banks directly at View phone number on click.appcast.io.
