Job Summary:

Aspire Senior Living Jonesburg, a premier skilled nursing facility in Jonesburg, Missouri, is seeking a motivated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality speech therapy services to our residents, utilizing evidence-based practices and individualized treatment plans to improve communication and swallowing disorders
• Conduct comprehensive assessments, screenings, and evaluations to identify treatment needs and develop personalized therapy plans
• Develop, implement, and maintain a variety of therapy programs, including individual and group sessions, and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to ensure inclusive care planning
• Demonstrate expertise in areas of speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders, as well as cognitive-communication disorders
• Collaborate with caregivers, families, and other healthcare professionals to educate and support our residents in achieving their therapy goals
• Document therapy sessions, progress, and outcomes in accordance with regulations and company standards

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution
• Current licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Missouri
• Experience working with older adults and individuals with complex needs
