Assistant Director of Nursing (Adon)

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Assistant Director of Nursing (Adon) to join our team at Everest Management. Responsibilities:

• Assist the Director of Nursing in directing and supervising daily nursing activities

• Define and maintain standards of nursing practice within the community

• Monitor all aspects of patient care and conditions

• Review community's Healthcare Clinical Policies and Procedures

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines and regulations

• Oversee provision of appropriate medications, treatments, and general nursing services

• Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records

• Participate in development and implementation of clinical program

• Conduct and participate in daily rounds to monitor delivery of nursing care

• Assume responsibilities of Director of Nursing in their absence

• May be required to be "on-call" periodically or as specifically needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent

• Minimum of 3 years of previous long-term care experience, with a minimum of 1 year of charge nurse experience

• Licensed in the applicable state as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

• Prior experience managing staff and working in long-term care and/or assisted living setting preferred

• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in a relevant specialty (e.g., CNA, CMA, etc.)

• Experience with electronic medical records (EMRs)

• Familiarity with state and federal regulations regarding long-term care and assisted living
