Summary
We are seeking a Private Duty Nurse to join our compassionate team at Chosen Village. This role involves delivering personalized nursing care to patients in their homes, ensuring their comfort and well-being while supporting their medical needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications.
- Assist with IV infusions and other medical procedures as needed.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments.
- Educate patients and families on health management and medication administration.
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Support patients with dementia through tailored care strategies.
Requirements
- Current nursing license in the state of Texas.
- Proven experience in primary care or home health nursing.
- Strong skills in patient assessment and medication administration.
- Experience with IV infusion and dementia care preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
