About the Facility: Blackfeet Hospital Blackfeet Community Hospital is dedicated to improving the health care and well-being of the community and those in need by providing professional, compassionate, caring, and accessible health care through continuous commitment to our patients and employees. The services we provide include behavioral health and social services, community health nursing, a diabetes program, an ENT clinic, emergency care, a nursing department, physical therapy, and outpatient care. OB/GYN - RESPONSIBILITIES

• The OB/GYN delivers specialized care in obstetrics and gynecology, including preventive, diagnostic, and therapeutic services.
• Perform patient interviews, physical exams, and necessary diagnostic tests to form treatment plans.
• Manage outpatient clinics, inpatient units (Labor & Delivery and Obstetric Care Unit), and ensure continuity of care.
• The OB/GYN performs major surgeries, including spontaneous and operative deliveries, and provides postpartum care.
  • This role is primarily OB/GYN, surgically capable providers are desired. Capability to perform C-sections are required.
• Offer emergency care and definitive management of OB/GYN cases.
• Provide consultation on complex cases and assist other physicians in procedures.
• The OB/GYN respects and integrates cultural practices into patient care, particularly for the local community served.

OB/GYN - REQUIREMENTS

• Must be Board Certified/Board Eligible (BC/BE) with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG).
• Must have a DEA License.
• Must have current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) (American Heart Association), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) are required.
• Must hold a current, valid, unrestricted nursing license in a U.S. state, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or a U.S. Territory.
