Requirements of the Pediatrician: Must have an active State License Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible Must be fluent on Spanish Benefits of the Pediatrician: The salary range for this position is $175,000 - $190,000/yr. Responsibilities of the Pediatrician: Diagnose and treat illnesses, medical conditions, and injuries. Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests. Collect, record, and maintain patients' information and histories. Prescribe and administer treatments, therapies, medications, vaccinations, and other specialized medical care. Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients and family members. Monitor patients' conditions and progress. Direct, coordinate, consult with, and refer patients to nurses, students, assistants, specialists, therapists, and other medical staff. Advise patients, parents, and guardians on diets, activities, hygiene, and disease prevention.
