Key Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
• Coordinate patient care with other disciplines across the care team
• Utilize critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment in all patient care decisions

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
• Epic experience within the last 12 months is required; each work history entry must identify the charting system used
• Recent Cerner experience required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor (AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Acute care facility experience
