Events Manager

As an Event Manager, you’ll turn leadership’s vision into well-run events by bringing the right people together, coordinating the details, and guiding each event from planning through follow-up. You’ll lead assigned events, support others as needed, and help improve our event processes over time. What You’ll Do Partner with the executive team to define event goals, communicate plans, and bring each event vision to life. Lead event teams by setting direction, sharing timelines and milestones, resolving conflicts, and building collaboration. Coordinate with team members, industry executives, sponsors, venues, and other stakeholders. Develop event budgets, monitor expenses, and make decisions that keep projects within budget. Coordinate participant travel and work with venues on contracts and banquet event orders. Identify and address risks to keep events on schedule and resolve challenges as they arise. Ensure event deliverables are completed on time and meet quality expectations. Gather feedback and prepare post-event reports to improve future events. Document best practices and look for ways to improve event planning processes. What You Bring At least two years of successful event management experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organization and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments at a fast pace. Professionalism and confidence when working with executives and other stakeholders. The ability to lead meetings, make decisions, motivate others, and build a positive team environment. A proactive, flexible approach to solving problems and managing changing priorities. The ability to anticipate project risks and find practical ways to address them. Creativity and an interest in learning and applying new event management approaches. Proficiency with event management tools. Preferred Qualifications Experience managing events for 100–200 or more attendees, particularly events involving executive-level professionals. A bachelor’s degree, preferably in hospitality management, marketing, communications, or a related field. The salary range for this role starts at $65,000 per year. Final compensation will be determined according to the candidate’s relevant experience, skills, and qualifications.
