Position Overview The Sales Operations Manager will serve as a key support to our sales team. The successful candidate will be a central hub between our sales, operations, marketing and finance teams, ensuring flawless execution of retail and distributor orders, data and forecast accuracy, and customer compliance. This role will oversee order processing, maintain pricing and promotional data, and support the sales team with forecasting, administrative, reporting, and event coordination needs. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and skilled in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. He/she will be highly customer service-oriented. With a dotted reporting line to our two Vice Presidents of Sales, this role includes a Sales Coordinator direct report. Key Responsibilities Order & Data Management · Process and manage purchase orders across major retail and distributor portals (SPS, EDI, etc.) · Monitor order accuracy, fulfillment, and shipping timelines in coordination with operations · Maintain accurate pricing, promotion, and deduction records · Partner with Accounts Receivable on rebate submissions and deduction reconciliation · Track compliance with retailer scorecards and KPIs · Manage retail customer onboarding and agreements (including W-9s) · Coordinate sample requests, sales presentations, and retailer portal navigation · Track and submit promotional contracts and deal sheets · Prepare new item forms, sell sheets, and compliance documents · Organize sales meetings, trade shows, and retailer-specific events · Monitors trade management software to ensure timely updates from sales team members · Communicate inventory risk alerts to customers · Maintain up-to-date online content, sales folders, internal databases, and digital platforms · Maintain accurate broker contact and performance information · Review broker reports and correspondence as required for follow-up · Liaise with brokers, buyers, and distributors to troubleshoot item setup, sales data errors, and invoice discrepancies · Resolve deduction disputes and maintain accurate scorecards · Track trade spend effectiveness and broker performance metrics Qualifications · Bachelor's degree in business, Sales, Marketing, or related field preferred · 3+ years of experience in sales operations, customer service, or account management—preferably in CPG or brokerage · Familiarity with retail landscape including channels, customers and distributors · Proficiency with EDI, SPS Commerce, and retail portal systems · Strong data management and Excel/Google Sheets skills · Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities · Strong written and verbal communication skills · Ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners · Experience with PromoMash or similar trade promotion management tools is a plus Why Join BUILT Bar LLC? · Be part of a fast-growing, innovative brand in protein snacking · Collaborative, high-energy work environment · Competitive salary and benefits package · Opportunity to work with a passionate team and contribute to a mission-driven compan Seniority level Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Job function Sales and Business Development Industries Food and Beverage Services Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Built Brands by 2x Sign in to set job alerts for “Sales Operations Manager” roles.
