Opportunity: Surgery Cardiothoracic

Job Details:

• Work as a Cardiac Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• 4x10 hour shifts per week with possible weekend coverage
• Schedule options: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 9:00 AM - 6:30 PM (to be discussed during interview)
• No call coverage required
• Manage approximately 10 patients per day
• Provide pre and post-operative cardiac surgery care
• Manage ICU patients, conduct rounds, and handle discharge planning
• Work collaboratively with on-site APPs and surgeons in a team-oriented environment
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical record system
• Minimum 5 years of acute care cardiac surgery experience required
• Operating room experience not required
• Board certification required
• Valid California license and DEA registration required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; CALS preferred but not mandatory
• Clean background check and no malpractice history required
