Our broad service offering includes construction materials testing, geotechnical services, environmental engineering, industrial hygiene, and specialty testing.What are we looking for?The Project Manager - Construction Material Testing/Special Inspections is responsible for performing a variety of testing, project specific observations and site assessment duties under general supervision and/or from detailed controlled procedures. What you’ll do:Understand Construction Materials Testing Business Conduct and attend project meetings and maintain Client relationships, leverage and develop new project opportunitiesReview project setup, prepare advanced proposals for internal and external review and follow upComplete contract review and negotiationMonitor project budget and initiate change ordersReview, Prepare and Submit invoicesPerform project close out dutiesSupervise field personnelHelp with equipment issues and/or replacementAssist with lab, field and/or administrative duties as neededThis position outline is a general guideline and does not represent all encompassing details. Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering ⁠Some experience in Construction Materials TestingEffective communication skills (written, verbal and listening) and solid interpersonal skillsInternal PMCP completion within 6 months of hireAbility to lead and supervise othersMust be able to work off shift and overtime as neededPreferred Requirements & Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering3+ years' experience as a project manager 5+ years of Construction Materials Testing and/or special inspection experienceICC, ACI, WisDOT CertificationsIntertek: Total Quality.
