Fabrication Machine Operator Responsibilities: Tend to and operate one or more metal fabrication production machines according to established specifications Observe machine operation, follow work instructions, and report any malfunctions promptly Remove finished parts, separate runners from products, and load inserts as necessary Feed strips into presses to support the manufacturing process Visually inspect parts for defects and measure dimensions with gages or tools Pack finished products into cartons, attach shipping labels, and perform basic assembly tasks when required Maintain accurate production counts and record keeping Sort through finished goods with a keen eye to notice defects and differentiate batch numbers Requirements for Fabrication Machine Operator: Able to lift up to 50 lbs periodically throughout the shift Able to stand, walk and perform repetitive movement required for the duration of a 8-10 hour shift Prior experience operating manufacturing machinery is strongly preferred Excellent attendance Able to work overtime as neededGood communication skills
