The position spans the full school year (ASAP through May 21, 2027) with a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, totaling 37.5 hours weekly from 7:15 am to 2:45 pm.

This role specifically focuses on teaching general education science to a middle school caseload. You’ll have the chance to develop and implement engaging lesson plans, foster curiosity, and help students discover the wonders of science. Your expertise and creativity will shape a positive learning experience and academic growth for every student in your classroom.

Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid teaching license in South Carolina—no exceptions
• Certified in Middle Level Science or Science
• Experience working with middle school students is highly preferred
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Commitment to supporting diverse learners and fostering an inclusive environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging science instruction aligned with curriculum standards
• Assess student understanding and tailor instruction to meet diverse learning needs
