SUPPLY SPECIALIST

Supply Support Specialist Duties

You will plan, organize, direct, and control supply support activities involving warehousing, accountability, material management, receiving, issuing, shipping, property control, investigations, and oversight.

You will manage inventory records and accountability procedures, ensuring excess equipment, requisitions, receipts, and property transactions are processed accurately and in accordance with established requirements.

You will coordinate transactions between project offices and contractors, monitor government furnished equipment, and maintain proper accountability while supporting research and development activities.

You will review supply reports and records for accuracy, update activity address information, and monitor allowance listings to ensure required assets are properly recorded and assigned to the appropriate offices.

You will analyze supply operations and programs, evaluate their effectiveness and efficiency, and apply specialized methods and technical knowledge to resolve supply support requirements under established direction.

You will conduct meetings and informational briefings, work with customers to identify their needs, participate as a team member, and prepare correspondence while following Department of Defense and Marine Corps regulations.
