Systems Analyst
Position is on the development team that supports the United Strategic Platform (USP) team that supports fulfillment activities (ID Cards, benefit summaries, letter communications).
- Work with our business partners to identify and document Feature level requirements
- Turn feature level requirements provided by business into detailed technical requirements and solutions that will be used by the development teams for coding and testing requirements
- Manage communications between the development team and Product Owners/Business Partners ensuring that all requirements and needs are understood and agreed upon by all parties
- Participate in Feature/User Story acceptance sessions
- Ability to document business and technical flows
- Provide support to the Business and Development teams in the defect identification and remediation process
Required Skills:
- Basic knowledge and skills developing SQL queries (MySQL)
- Knowledge of the Healthcare Insurance business
- Ability to shift priorities on short notice
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- 2+ years experience working in a collaborative environment
- 2+ years experience working cross functionally between the Business and IT
- 2+ years experience working in a very fast paced environment with tight delivery timelines
- 2+ years experience working in an Agile development environment
- 2+ years experience interpreting data model diagrams and relational data structures
- 2+ years of knowledge and skills using Visio or the Mac equivalent
