Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments including physical examinations and medical histories
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through analysis of imaging and lab results
• Work hand-in-hand with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment plans
• Provide intraoperative assistance, preparing operating rooms, positioning patients, and expertly passing surgical tools
• Deliver outstanding pre-operative and post-operative care, from medication to discharge planning and patient education

Education Requirements

• Master's degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program
• Prior experience through clinical rotations with a surgical emphasis highly preferred

Certifications Needed

• Valid and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant

Skills Required
