Job Responsibilities

• Empower Patients and Families: Teach patients and their families about therapy methodologies to encourage continued progress at home.
• Track and Document Progress: Monitor patient growth, recording outcomes and refining treatment as necessary, ensuring that they remain on track for success.

Education and Credentials

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university.
• Opportunities for ongoing education and post-graduate certifications are available and encouraged.

Required Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory.
