Restaurant Busser# Restaurant BusserSeascape Beach Resort - Aptos, CA 95003## OverviewSalary Range$17.00 - $18.00 HourlyPosition TypePart TimeJob ShiftAnyEducation LevelHigh SchoolTravel PercentageNoneCategoryRestaurant - Food Service## Description**SUMMARY:** To assist all waitpersons and other food and beverage personnel in serving meals and drinks.**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:*** Clear and set tables as per Resort standards.* Support waitstaff in providing prompt and attentive food and beverage service.* Help maintain adequate supplies for all requests from guests.* Assist in providing a clean, safe, and sanitary dining room for guests.* Assist all other personnel in setting and clearing rooms for upcoming events.* Ensure all services to guests are provided in a highly professional and efficient manner with strong attention to detail.* Support safe work habits and contributes to a safe working environment.* Consistently come to work regularly and on time.* Support safe work habits and contribute to a safe working environment at all times.* Follow directions, get along with co-workers and supervisors, treat co-workers, supervisors and guests with respect and courtesy, contributes to a positive and rewarding team environment and refrains from abusive, insubordinate and/or violent behavior.* Perform other related duties as requested by the supervisor.## Qualifications**QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES:**Listed below are the qualifications that represent the knowledge, skills, and/or ability to perform this job successfully:* Must provide prompt and cordial service to all guests.* Working knowledge of, or the ability to learn, point-of-sale computer systems.* Must be reliable, responsible and able to work well under pressure.* Ability to understand and carry out written and verbal instructions.* Apply critical thinking to solve problems in standardized situations.* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.* Must be able to work independently.* Must meet legal age requirements for the position.**EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:*** Equivalent combination of education and experience.* Prior resort and/or hospitality experience preferred.* High school diploma or equal to a GED. #J-18808-Ljbffr Seascape Beach Resort
