- Creating new IP and patents
- Working directly with major OEMs
- Taking products from concept to production
- Building a vertically integrated manufacturing capability
Experience
- 10–15 years as a mechanical design engineer
- Designed production products—not just tooling
- Aerospace and/or semiconductor capital equipment
- Precision-machined components and assemblies
- High-vacuum systems
- Gas and fluid handling systems
- Tolerance stack-up analysis
- GD&T expert
- Design for Manufacturing (DFM)
- Design for Assembly (DFA)
- Prototype through production
Software
- SolidWorks
- Creo Parametric or Siemens NX
- FEA experience
- PDM/PLM
