Position Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior UX Designer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior UX Designer, you will be responsible for leading the user experience design initiatives within the Outreach & Execution product organization. In partnership with cross-functional teams, you will craft innovative solutions that satisfy user needs while advancing business objectives. Your expertise in user-centered design, UX research, interaction design, and information architecture will be essential in shaping the direction of digital experiences across a portfolio that enables visit scheduling, clinician route navigation, and seamless member communications. This position is a tireless advocate for the end-user and contributes to the continued evolution of our design methods and delivery. This role will be accountable for strong results and will have ample opportunities to make a significant impact on the daily lives of our users and our business. Roles and responsibilities Execute the end-to-end UX design process for your product, from early stage research to implementation and ongoing refinement, ensuring the delivery of high-quality user-centered designs that align with business goals and user needs. Conduct generative and evaluative user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gain deep insights into user behavior, motivations, and pain points. Leverage user research findings to develop an in-depth understanding of user psychology and behaviors and craft user personas, empathy maps, user flows, journey maps, and other artifacts that help inform the design process. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and stakeholders, to define project goals, requirements, and timelines. Collaborate with engineers to ensure the successful implementation of design solutions and provide guidance on interaction design and front-end development best practices. Translate user insights and business requirements into intuitive, engaging, user-centered design solutions, including wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs that effectively communicate design concepts and interactions. Advocate for the user and ensure that all design decisions are based on user needs and clearly demonstrate how proposed solutions solve those needs. Present design concepts, solutions, strategies, and user research findings to stakeholders, effectively communicating design rationale and incorporating feedback into iterations. Follow and contribute to design guidelines, patterns, and best practices to maintain consistency and cohesiveness across our digital products. Identify and measure behavioral analytics for your product that tie to product and business goals. Help development teams in implementing the appropriate analytics. Track and report on UX metrics that show a clear impact and value to the organization and communicate them effectively. Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and UX design methodologies, and apply them to continuously improve our design methods, processes, and deliverables. Help mentor and guide junior designers, providing feedback and fostering their growth and development. Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years experience in UX, Interaction Design, or Product Design Proven experience as a UX designer, driving and delivering design from initial concepts all the way to successful launch, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work. 2+ years experience conducting user research and usability testing. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex user needs into intuitive and engaging design solutions. Experience in UX design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Axure, Invision, or similar software. Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate user needs, design concepts and rationale, and research findings to stakeholders and gain support and commitment. Ability to work mostly independently and take ownership of projects while also collaborating effectively within a team. Understanding of modern front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc) and how they contribute to features or constraints in order to effectively collaborate with and support engineers. Experience working in a lean or Agile development environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience designing for multiple platforms (web, mobile, tablet, etc.) and understanding their unique constraints and requirements. Experience in UI design including a strong grasp on visual hierarchy, spacing, typography, etc. Experience using AI tools to accelerate user research and design execution. Experience with research platforms such as Usertesting.com, Optimal Workshop, HeyMarvin or equivalent. Knowledge of healthcare industry Enterprise UX experience Service design experience, including mapping and evaluating the full customer journey (touchpoints, channels, and backstage processes) to recommend improvements that connect the entire ecosystem. Understanding of and experience working with design systems and component-based design. Experience with design thinking methodologies and facilitating design workshops. Education Bachelor's or Master's degree in User Experience, Digital Design, Human Factors Engineering, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Interaction Design, Computer Science, or other related creative or technical fields. Equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree considered. Anticipated Weekly Hours 40 Time Type Full time Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $92,700.00 - $185,400.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. Our people fuel our future.
