Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) in a high-acuity medical-surgical environment. This position involves caring for patients with acute stroke and complex telemetry needs on a fast-paced, 34-bed unit. Responsibilities include performing neurological assessments, monitoring telemetry rhythms, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and quality care.

Job Details:

• Shift Time: Days
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid state license, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification, ability to read basic rhythm strips, no minimum experience required
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in stroke or telemetry nursing
• Additional Information: Performing and documenting neurological assessments, monitoring telemetry rhythms, ensuring compliance with stroke core measures, administering medications safely using BCMA standards, coordinating care with interdisciplinary team, managing admissions and discharges, maintaining patient safety through falls prevention and skin integrity
