IT Specialist Job (In-Person) – $65,000 to $68,000 per Year Job Overview We are seeking a skilled IT Specialist to join our dynamic and technology-driven organization. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive technical support, manage computer systems, and maintain IT infrastructure to ensure seamless daily operations. This role is perfect for a proactive problem-solver with strong communication skills and hands‑on experience in operating systems, networking, and IT support tools. Key Responsibilities Provide technical and desktop support to end‑users, resolving hardware, software, and network issues efficiently. Manage and maintain computer systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems. Troubleshoot and maintain computer hardware, peripherals, and software applications. Configure and support networking solutions including LAN, VPN, firewalls, and security protocols. Monitor and manage IT infrastructure using tools such as BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, and Jira. Assist with server setup, maintenance, and network device configuration. Apply system updates, security patches, and vulnerability prevention measures. Support help desk operations and document technical issues accurately. Collaborate with internal teams to implement new IT solutions. Maintain IT documentation, configurations, and asset inventories. Required Qualifications Proven experience in IT or technical support roles. Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux environments. Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Office, VPNs, firewalls, and LAN configurations. Familiarity with IT support and ticketing tools such as BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, and Jira. Understanding of computer hardware components and maintenance practices. Excellent communication skills for supporting non‑technical users. Ability to work independently and in fast‑paced team environments. Certifications like CompTIA A+, Network+, or MCSE are preferred but not required.
