Black Ridge Roofing | Horizon Contracting LLC

Location: Baltimore, Maryland and surrounding areas
Compensation: $500 per week base pay plus commission
Expected total pay: $70,000–$120,000 per year, depending on sales performance

Build your career selling for two growing construction brands. With Black Ridge Roofing, you’ll help homeowners invest in complete roof replacements. With Horizon Contracting, you’ll build relationships with real estate investors and help bring full renovation projects to life.

Roofing and renovation projects typically range in price from $10,000 to $300,000. You’ll earn a commission on the projects you sell, in addition to your weekly base pay.

We’re looking for an experienced salesperson who knows how to create opportunities, follow through, and close. We provide some leads, but success in this role depends on your ability to generate business of your own.

Black Ridge Roofing is the dedicated roofing brand of Horizon Contracting LLC. As a GAF CertifiedTM contractor, we focus on roof replacements and complete roofing systems for homeowners.

Horizon Contracting specializes in full gut renovations for real estate investors. Our team works with clients from the initial scope through construction, with an emphasis on communication, execution, and quality workmanship.

We’re a growing, hands-on company. Sales and operations work closely together, and we value people who take ownership, communicate clearly, and deliver on their commitments. A strong performer will have room to grow as both brands expand.

What You’ll Do

• Generate new roofing and renovation opportunities through outreach, networking, referrals, and relationship building.
• Follow up promptly with company-provided leads while building and managing your own pipeline.
• Meet with homeowners, learn about their roofing needs, and guide them through the sales process.
• Build lasting relationships with real estate investors and identify upcoming renovation projects.
• Work with our estimating and operations team to develop clear scopes and set accurate expectations.
• Present proposals, follow up consistently, and close contracts.
• Represent both brands professionally in the field and throughout the sales process.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven sales experience in roofing, construction, home improvement, or a related field.
• A demonstrated ability to generate leads and close sales.
• Strong communication, follow-up, and relationship-building skills.
• Confidence speaking with both homeowners and real estate investors.
• Self-motivation, accountability, and comfort working independently.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to travel throughout our service area.
