Job Details Job Location: Southington, CT 06489 Hospice Patient Volunteer Job Posting Volunteer Responsibilities Engage in conversation with patients. Read to a patient. Look at pictures together. Share music or videos on their phones. Provide a compassionate presence or other activities. Requirements At least 18 years old. Able to commit for one year to the program. Able to commit to at least 4 hours per week. Ability to listen deeply, interest in and compassion for others, good boundaries and self-care, and meet people where they’re at in energy and tone. Online training takes approximately 20 hours and is personally enriching, focusing on personal death awareness and hospice philosophy. No close death in the last year. Why Constellation?
