Quality Inspector I

Quality InspectorResponsible for receiving, in-process, and final inspections/audits of parts/assemblies/processes to meet customer specifications, purchase order, and quality requirements. Determine part conformity, compliance, and ensure that it is suitable for use by our customer.Essential Job Functions:Inspect/audit product using basic variable or attribute measuring equipment and record results to ensure conformance with part and customer requirements.Be able to read and understand aerospace specifications, military specifications, industry specifications, and/or manufacturing instructions.Be able to read and interpret basic print requirements.Review, control and maintenance of paperwork, documents, certs, and records.Process nonconformances using NAP's QMS.Additional Duties:Provide support for Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives, companywide.Other duties, reporting, special assignments, or projects as needed and assigned.Must remain current with, and complete all required training as assigned.Must adhere to Company Corporate EHS Policy and department, occupation, and task specific safety protocols, including but not limited to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.Qualifications:2+ years' manufacturing experienceDemonstrated competency with metrology equipment.Shop level math skills.Experience following written work instructions and blueprints.Able to work in a team environment, including being cross trained for multiple work assignments.Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office products and ERP systems (vantage and/or E-10 preferred).Physical Requirements include ability to stand for long periods of time, walk between workstations, and lift up to 25 lbs. repeatedly. May be required to occasionally lift up to 40 lbs.
