Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - Pediatric Cardiac Surgery

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day Shift: 4x10s (07:00 AM - 05:30 PM)

We are seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with expertise in Pediatric Cardiac Surgery. The ideal candidate should possess strong experience in cardiac surgery, with a preference for those with pediatric-specific experience. This role involves assisting in surgical procedures and ensuring the operating room is set up and functioning optimally.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the surgical team by preparing and maintaining the operating room environment.
• Handle instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary for surgical procedures.
• Perform tasks related to patient care within the surgical setting.
• Respond quickly to the needs of the surgical team during procedures.
• Demonstrate knowledge of cardiopulmonary bypass and ECMO cannulation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• CST Certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in cardiac surgery.
• Pediatric cardiac surgery experience strongly preferred; adult CT surgery experience accepted.
• Experience with cardiopulmonary bypass and ECMO cannulation is required.
• Valid State License (Single State OH or Multi State License required).
