Quick Facts Location: Belmont, North Carolina Start Date: 04/28/2026 Position Type: Full-time Schedule: 24-hour shifts, on-site rounding, and night call from home Hours per Week: ~40 hours Employment Type: Permanent Experience: Minimum 2+ years as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Certifications: Board Certified NNP (no FNP, PNP) Pay: $1.00/hour License/Certs: Active NNP certification required Pay & Benefits Competitive pay package discussed upon application Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance & Short- & Long-term disability options $0.15 employee stock purchase program with discount 401(k) plan with employer match Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable Additional benefits: Pre-tax HSA/FSA, Aflac plans, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), and more What You’ll Do Lead daily rounds on newborns in a new Level I nursery with approx. 5 newborns daily Attend deliveries as needed and stabilize/stabilize newborns requiring higher-level care Manage the transfer and transport of infants to NICUs in Charlotte or Gastonia Collaborate with a dedicated team of NNPs and neonatologists for optimal patient care Contribute to a new facility aimed at delivering excellent neonatal services Provide compassionate, evidence-based care in a dynamic setting What You Need Active, unencumbered NNP certification (must be Board Certified) Minimum of 2+ years of recent NNP experience (excluding RN experience) Strong neonatal stabilization, transport, and clinical skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Excellent communication and organizational skills About the Assignment Join a leading healthcare facility in Belmont, NC, scheduled to open a new Level I nursery in late 2024.
