MRI Tech - Travel Position

Location: Aurora, CO

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 7A - 7P, including weekends

Job Description: The MRI Tech will be responsible for performing various MRI exams and procedures. The ideal candidate should be proficient in operating MRI equipment and interacting with patients to ensure high-quality imaging results.

Responsibilities:

• Perform all general MRI exams, including those requiring anesthesia and examinations on patients with pacemakers or other cardiac devices.
• Collaborate with medical personnel to ensure high standards of patient care.
• Maintain MRI equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Participate in on-call rotations, including Monday nights and every fourth weekend.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 6 months of current acute care MRI Tech experience.
• ARRT (MR) certification and BLS certification are mandatory.
• Level II Trauma experience and familiarity with cardiac MRI procedures are preferred.
