Job Title

Registered Nurse – NICU (Level III)

Location

Apple Valley, CA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:00 AM – 6:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Level III NICU setting serving approximately 190 births per month
• Monitor, assess, and document the condition of critically ill neonates using Epic electronic health records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Adhere to unit scheduling requirements, including rotating weekend shifts that may exceed every other weekend based on unit needs
• Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of registered nursing experience, with at least 1 year in NICU specialty
• Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Current BCLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of initial submission; post-offer RTO requests may not be granted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a high-volume Level III NICU environment
• Familiarity with acute care hospital settings and associated protocols
