Restaurant Manager

Resting on the shores of Lake Toxaway, nestled in the lush embrace of the North Carolina mountains, you’ll find The Greystone. Position Lake Toxaway at our front door, the North Carolina mountains at our back door, and in between a gathering place and restaurant for our guests. Under the direction of our Restaurant General Manager, you will assist front‑of‑house staff in preparing for service, ensure the restaurant is clean, and make sure the kitchen has enough inventory to maintain high‑quality orders. Throughout service, monitor operations to ensure customers have a positive experience, answer any customer questions, help expedite orders, and fill in wherever needed. Additional responsibilities Ensuring incoming staff complies with company policy Training staff to follow restaurant procedures Maintaining safety and food quality standards Keeping customers happy and handling complaints Organizing schedules Keeping track of employees’ hours Ordering front‑of‑house and other supplies while staying within budget limitations Ensuring all end‑of‑day cash outs are correctly completed Interacting with guests to get feedback on product quality and service levels Qualifications Good organization skills Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities Ability to stand throughout the shift and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
