Job Title: Wire Harness Technician Job Description

The Wire Harness Technician will be responsible for building, assembling, installing, and modifying low-voltage test wiring systems. The role involves routing, crimping, terminating, and soldering various low-voltage cabling, while also reading and interpreting wiring diagrams, schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions using hand tools.

• Build, assemble, and install low-voltage test wiring systems.
• Modify existing wiring systems as required.
• Route, crimp, terminate, and solder low-voltage cabling.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions.
• Utilize hand tools effectively for wiring harness assembly.

• Experience in wire harness assembly.
• Proficiency in schematic reading and interpretation.
• Skill in soldering and crimping.
• Knowledge of low-voltage wiring and routing.

• Experience with access control systems.
• Knowledge of structured network cabling.
• J-STD-001 Certification.
• Ability to install network devices.
• Physical ability to lift 25 lbs.

Work in a first shift environment from 9am to 5pm. The position is a 6-month contract-to-hire, offering stable hours and a focus on quality assurance in wiring harnesses and schematics.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Culver City, CA.

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
