Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Manager to oversee our service department. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of industrial equipment repair processes, ensuring that our team provides exceptional customer service while maintaining high standards of quality. The Service Manager will align departmental goals with dealership objectives and transmit critical information between staff and customers to enhance service efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations of the service department, ensuring optimal workflow and productivity.

• Supervise and train service staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages professional growth.

• Oversee customer interactions, addressing inquiries and resolving issues to enhance customer satisfaction.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and dealership policies related to repair and maintenance.

• Conduct regular inspections of the service area, ensuring that equipment is well-maintained and operational.

• Collaborate with other departments to align services offered with customer needs and dealership goals.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends.

Experience:

• Proven experience in service management or a similar role within a dealership environment is preferred.

• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in repair is essential.

• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both customers and team members.

• Ability to suspend personal biases and maintain professionalism in all interactions.
