Communications/PR Coordinator

The Communications Coordinator supports the Client’s communications team in engaging employees, customers, and other external audiences through a variety of communication channels. This is a highly visible role that requires a strong sense of professionalism and the ability to represent and uphold the Client’s mission, vision, and brand. This role will make an impact by: Providing daily coordination and support to a cross‑functional team through administrative support, research, content traffic management, tracker updates, and reporting. Creating meaningful written, editorial, graphic, creative, social media, scripting, and visual content that highlights the value and impact of the Client and its initiatives. Responsibilities Support communications managers in executing the strategic goals of the communications department, leveraging strong prioritization skills to help the team focus on high‑impact initiatives. Maintain team calendars, shared mailboxes, agendas, reports, and structured communication rhythms (huddles, check‑ins) to ensure alignment, accountability, and progress. Capture and analyze data for quarterly reporting and key performance metrics, using insights to measure effectiveness and support decision‑making. Partner with internal stakeholders to execute internal and external communications initiatives and content strategies. Create and publish content for websites, employee intranets, digital channels, social media platforms, and provide graphic design support as needed. Support organizational events by managing event calendars and developing promotional and social media content. Contribute to the creation of marketing and communications materials, presentations, publications, and graphic assets. Assist with internal employee engagement campaigns, digital signage, surveys, town halls, and all‑staff meetings. Perform other duties as assigned. Education & Experience 1–2 years of experience in communications, public relations, social media, marketing, or a related field. Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, Business, or a related discipline from an accredited institution, or equivalent professional experience. Knowledge & Abilities Highly organized with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines, and deadlines. Ability to develop creative solutions and deliver results in a fast‑paced environment. Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently. Demonstrated experience in internal and external communications, including writing and editing. Excellent communication skills with strong writing, content development, design, and social media expertise. Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and cross‑functional teams. Experience with content management systems and email marketing platforms is a plus. Familiarity with communications and marketing tools such as Airtable, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, SharePoint, Sprout Social, and Google Analytics. Proficiency in Canva and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite applications, including Photoshop and InDesign, preferred. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams. #J-18808-Ljbffr
