You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality tax compliance and advisory services across a broad client portfolio. The Role As Tax Senior , you’ll manage a portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients, ensuring compliance requirements are met while identifying opportunities for tax planning and advisory support. You’ll work closely with managers and partners to deliver tailored solutions and develop strong client relationships. Key responsibilities include: Preparing and reviewing personal and corporation tax returns Managing tax compliance processes and meeting statutory deadlines Supporting tax advisory projects, including restructuring, R&D claims, capital allowances, and succession planning Providing tax planning advice to individuals and businesses Communicating with clients to gather information, resolve queries, and provide proactive advice Reviewing work prepared by junior staff and supporting their development Assisting with HMRC correspondence and managing client enquiries Keeping up to date with UK tax legislation and sharing insights with the wider team About You You’ll be a motivated and detail-oriented tax professional with strong technical knowledge and a passion for client service. You will: Be ATT qualified (or studying towards CTA), or ACA/ACCA qualified with tax experience Have several years of experience working within an accountancy practice Possess solid technical understanding of personal and corporate tax compliance Be confident managing client relationships and reviewing team members’ work Have experience or interest in supporting tax advisory assignments Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills Be highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and time management skills Thrive in a collaborative, team-focused environment The Firm This modern, expanding accountancy and advisory firm is part of a larger national network that combines local expertise with the resources of a wider group.
