Media Planner

Media Planner, Strategy Group Havas Edge is seeking an experienced media planner to join the Strategy Group. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience planning television campaigns including linear and CTV, and the ideal candidate will have the following: Ability to balance the following when media planning: creating multi-scenario plans, GRP/CPM/audience/competitive goals, business strategy, and consumer journey A level of proficiency in the following media tools (including but not limited to): Nielsen Media Impact, Nielsen PAL, Nielsen Scarborough, MRI-Simmons, YouGov, ComScore, Numeris, Mintel, Statista, Guideline by SQAD, etc. Competence with media math and statistics including calculating GRPs, Reach and Frequency, CPPs, CPMs, and client based KPIs such as CPO & MER Experience working with and presenting to clients of different categories with an understanding of topline audiences and competitive within those categories Detail oriented with the ability to vet multiple vendor packages and determine best alignment with client goals Executes research and analysis to assist with various issues that arise in the execution of the tactical plan An original thinker with the confidence to reach out to other departments as needed, respectfully offer differing points of view, and defend media planning choices to account leaders and vendors Proficient in Microsoft 365 Stays up to date on the latest news affecting our media industry Acts as an active member of the Strategy Group on other projects as needed Must exhibit professionalism and confidence in working with vendors, team members and clients Strong analytical skills, ability to relate results to client business objectives Solid quantitative understanding of media planning and buying, as well as basic knowledge of strengths and weaknesses of each media type Research minded with a desire to continually improve knowledge and skillset Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and in a team setting Ability to interact with people at all levels of the organization and foster strong cross-functional teamwork Ability to manage multiple projects with short timelines in a fast-paced dynamic environment High level of attention to detail, organization, accuracy and speed required Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Some travel required for client and new business presentations Contract Type: Permanent Here at Havas across the group we pride ourselves on being committed to offering equal opportunities to all potential employees and have zero tolerance for discrimination.
