We're proud to create an environment where team members can grow their skills, work alongside supportive colleagues, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of the patients we serve.What You'll DoThis is a dual-role position, giving you the opportunity to work across both patient services and clinical care.Patient Services & Front OfficeYou'll help make every patient's visit feel smooth, welcoming, and professional by:Greeting and checking in patients with warmth and professionalismBuilding positive relationships with patients and making them feel comfortableExplaining insurance benefits, coverage, and out-of-pocket costs clearly and compassionatelyCollecting and processing patient payments accuratelyAnswering phones, managing messages, and responding to patient communicationsEntering and maintaining accurate patient and insurance information in the EHRKeeping the front desk and waiting area clean, organized, and welcomingSupporting scheduling and other administrative responsibilitiesHelping maintain an efficient clinic flow throughout the dayCompleting daily cash reconciliation and bank depositsClinical ResponsibilitiesYou'll also play an important role in supporting our providers and delivering quality patient care by:Obtaining and accurately documenting patient vital signsPerforming phlebotomy and injections independentlyAssisting providers with clinical procedures as neededOperating EKG and point-of-care testing equipment according to protocolPreparing lab requisitions and patient plans in advanceRooming patients efficiently, with a goal of 10–15 minutesSupporting smooth patient flow throughout the clinicCleaning, stocking, and maintaining exam roomsManaging clinical inventory and suppliesCompleting required clinical and operational logsHandling and processing patient specimens according to laboratory protocolsCompleting quality control documentation and instrument maintenanceIdentifying and reporting issues that could affect testing accuracyScheduleUp to 30 hours per week: below are the days we are needing coverageMonday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMTuesday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM- NEEDWednesday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PMThursday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM- NEEDFriday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM- NEEDSaturday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM- NEED 2–3 Saturdays per monthEmployees are expected to arrive 15 minutes prior to their scheduled shift.What We're Looking ForWe're looking for someone who brings both clinical confidence and a genuine desire to help people.Required QualificationsAt least 6 months of back-office Medical Assistant experience or completion of an externship in lieu of certificationHigh school diploma or GEDStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to provide a consistently positive patient experienceComfortable discussing insurance, billing, and payment options with patientsComfortable performing phlebotomy and injections independentlyAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinic environmentStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to multitask while maintaining accuracyPreferred QualificationsPrevious experience in a medical office, clinic, or healthcare settingExperience working with an electronic health record systemProficiency with Microsoft OfficeExperience with EKG and point-of-care testing equipmentWhy You'll Enjoy Working HereAt SynergenX, you won't just be filling a position — you'll become part of a team that values the people behind the care.We offer:Competitive payGreat benefits packageA supportive and collaborative team environmentThe opportunity to grow with an established and expanding healthcare organizationA patient-centered culture where your work mattersA role that allows you to use both your clinical and people skillsConsistent part-time hours and a structured scheduleThe opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients and your teammatesThe Person Who Thrives HereThe right person for this role is someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys helping others, and brings positive energy into the clinic every day.You're someone who can confidently move between the front desk and the clinical side of the practice.
