Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it.The Regional Manager - Customer Value Enablement leads Caterpillar's Customer Value Enablement team in North America and is the single point of accountability to customers in the region for enabling the value from the technology solutions we sell. This is a leader-of-leaders role with regional scope, leading a regional team of approximately 25 positions through multiple managers covering technology implementation and customer readiness and adoption. The role reports to the Global Director, Technology Value Enablement.In this role, you will work from the customer business case as the definition of success and define the future operating state each site must reach to ensure value is realized. You will integrate technical implementation, operational readiness and workforce capability into one engagement, anticipate delivery and capability risks, manage regional capacity and capability, and transfer lessons learned to the global excellence teams.You will enable the regional team to execute safely, consistently, and profitably on complex, high‑value mining technology programs.What You Will DoOwn delivery excellence for a multimillion‑dollar project portfolio, with accountability for scope, schedule, cost, quality, and customer satisfaction.Lead site change ownership across every workstream the technology impacts, embedding best practice with the customers.Partner closely with engineering, autonomous operations, workforce capability, and commercial teams to align implementation capacity, technical readiness, and customer commitments.Lead regional resource planning and workforce deployment, building talent pipelines to support both current execution and future growth.Monitor portfolio health and global KPIs, proactively identifying risks, removing obstacles, and escalating issues that impact delivery performance or financial outcomes.Provide executive oversight for contract execution, major change orders, and complex customer escalations.Drive continuous improvement, operational discipline, and knowledge sharing across regional implementation teams.Lead, coach, and develop regional implementation, readiness and adoption leaders, with a strong focus on succession planning and leadership capability building.Represent the MineStar implementation organization in enterprise, cross‑functional, and senior leadership forums, including executive‑level customer engagement.Leadership Scope & ImpactRegional accountability for MineStar projects and delivery across multiple countries and customer sites.Direct leadership of regional Managers of Technology Implementation (all MineStar portfolio, including AHS and Staffed solutions), Manager Customer Readiness & Adoption and the corresponding Lead and Specialist rolesSignificant executive‑level customer exposure, influencing long‑term customer relationships and strategic outcomes.What Skills Will You Bring?Technical Excellence: Proven success leading leaders and delivering large, complex technology programs in mining, industrial, or operational environments. Experience overseeing the deployment, integration, validation, and commissioning of autonomous and digital technology solutions while ensuring technical, operational, and customer success. Strong analytical capability with experience using operational, financial, and performance data to measure value realization, support decision-making, identify improvement opportunities, and optimize business outcomes.Customer Focus: Proven ability to align technology deployment with customer business objectives, drive adoption, and deliver measurable operational and financial outcomes across complex customer environments.Service Excellence: Demonstrated success leading large-scale implementation and transformation programs while delivering against customer commitments, business objectives, and value realization targets. Strong commercial acumen and customer engagement experience.Relationship Management: Extensive experience building trusted relationships with customer executives, dealer leadership, and global cross-functional teams. Proven ability to influence stakeholders across functions, regions, and cultures to achieve shared business outcomes. Demonstrated success leading regional teams, managing complex deployment organizations, influencing executive stakeholders, and driving large-scale business transformation initiatives across multiple regions and customer environments.Consulting: Ability to advise customers on operational transformation, define future-state operating models, and implement global standards, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives that drive sustainable value.Effective Communications: Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate strategy, business value, and performance outcomes to audiences ranging from site leadership to customer C-suite executives. Skilled at influencing decisions and building alignment.Problem Solving: Proven ability to lead through complex operational and delivery challenges, identify root causes, and implement scalable solutions that improve performance, execution, and customer outcomes.Top Candidates will also have:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Business or a related field (advanced degree preferred).Experience leading value realization for mining technology solutions, including accountability for a customer business case.Experience with MineStar or similar large scale industrial / mining technology solutions.Demonstrated change and adoption leadership, including ownership of operating-model change across multi-stakeholder workstreams.Experience in project management, technical system implementation, or large capital programs.Experience operating in remote, site based, and customer embedded operating models.Demonstrated ability to scale organizations and standardize execution globally.Additional information:This position requires the candidate to work full-time in the Phoenix or Tucson, AZ office.Domestic relocation assistance is available.This position will require up to 50% travel.Visa Sponsorship is not available.Summary Pay Range:$159,120.00 - $238,680.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
