You will make a difference at Dial by not only adding years to resident's lives but life to their years.Perks & Benefits:Birthday & anniversary PTOTuition AssistanceDouble pay on holidaysPTO accrual on DAY 1Referral BonusFree meal during shift (Up to $260 savings)Loyalty IncentiveEmployee Recognition ProgramDiscounts through Verizon and AT&TPay Advance ProgramMedical and Prescription Drug Insurance including Dental and VisionBasic Term Life/AD&DPosition OverviewThe position will assist with serving meals and beverages, bussing tables and cleaning the dining area.Essential Job ResponsibilitiesServe residents meals, take orders, and assist residents throughout all aspects of the dining experience.Take all orders and close out orders within the Dial designated point of sale system.Provide customer service to residents to allow high level of resident satisfaction while serving meals.Set tables for upcoming meals and reset for the following meal.Inform residents what foods are available on the day's menu.Address residents by name and their food beverage likes and dislikes.Prepare beverages before meals and serve beverage of choice to each resident.Keep water glasses and coffee cups and/or carafes filled.Clear tables, as needed, throughout meal and bus tables after the meal is finished.Vacuum carpet in the dining room after each meal.Maintain confidentiality of verbal and written information pertaining to residents, community operations and personnel.Report any on-the-job injuries to the supervisor before the end of the work shift on the day the injury occurs.Other duties as assignedEducation, Experience and Other RequirementsMust be age 16 or olderKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities RequiredAbility to read, write, and comprehend the English languagePromote teamwork in providing services to residents.Patience and a customer-focused attitude.Operation of basic kitchen appliances or willingness to learn.Working 3-3.75 hours per shift standing, walking, and moving about without the need to sit downPreferred QualificationsWillingness to learn and help othersEnjoyment in working with older adultsSome experience in food service is preferred
