Position: Line Cook

Location: Fast-paced restaurant

We are looking for a skilled Line Cook to join our team at our fast-paced restaurant. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking dishes according to the restaurant's recipes and standards. You will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient service to our customers.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook menu items according to the restaurant's recipes and standards

- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures

- Maintain a clean and organized work station

- Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented in a timely manner

- Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service

- Monitor food supplies and ingredients and communicate any shortages to the kitchen manager

- Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies

- Follow proper sanitation and hygiene practices to maintain a clean and safe kitchen

- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines

- Contribute ideas for menu improvements and new dishes

- Train and mentor new kitchen staff, as needed

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Line Cook in a fast-paced restaurant environment

- Knowledge of proper food handling and safety procedures

- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

- Strong communication and teamwork skills

- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately

- Attention to detail and ability to multitask

- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
