Job OverviewFairview is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Addiction Medicine Physician to join our Recovery Services Clinic in Minneapolis. In this flexible casual outpatient role, the physician will provide high-impact care for patients with opioid and substance use disorders, leading Suboxone (buprenorphine) inductions and stabilization in a fast-paced, walk-in clinic environment dedicated to recovery and healing.Position HighlightsFTE: casual, on an as needed basisSchedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PMCollaborative, interdisciplinary team environmentOpportunity to support program growth and quality initiativesKey ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive medical evaluation and management of patients with substance use disordersDeliver care for patients with co-occurring medical and psychiatric conditionsCollaborate with psychiatry, hospital medicine, nursing, social work, and case management teamsCommunicate effectively with referring providers and outpatient partners to ensure continuity of careParticipate in interdisciplinary case conferences and discharge planning as neededMaintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in alignment with quality and compliance standardsContribute to program development and quality improvement initiatives within Addiction MedicineCommunity InformationFairview Riverside University Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota is a vibrant and diverse city known for its dynamic neighborhoods, thriving arts and culture scene, abundant parks and lakes, and innovative, community‑driven spirit. .
