Registered Nurse PACU

$2276.64/week –

Job Summary:
Provide age-specific, direct patient care within the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). The RN ensures safe, effective recovery management and clinical support for postoperative patients, adhering to departmental standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to post-anesthesia patients utilizing the Nursing Process.
• Assess patient status continuously and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient recovery and discharge procedures.
• Delegate tasks appropriately to other clinical staff and supervise their performance.
• Maintain strict compliance with all applicable state and federal healthcare regulations and policies.
• Ensure that all required certifications are current, including ACLS, BLS, and PALS or ENPC, prior to contract start date.

Qualifications:

• Possess an active and valid RN license.
• Demonstrate recent experience working in PACU or perioperative settings.
• Hold current ACLS, BLS, and PALS (or ENPC) certifications.
• Exhibit strong assessment, communication, and clinical decision-making skills.
• Capable of functioning effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
