Java Developer (SQL, JSP, Integrated Eligibility) | MN/WV/REMOTE

Job Title

Interviews ASAP! Must have Integrated Eligibility experience, Java, SQL, JSP, Weblogic, Jquery, DB2 exp. Onsite preferred - will pitch telecommute candidates. When interviewing candidates must articulate their IE experience. Candidates will complete a simple coding challenge during the client interview. Manager is not looking for a team lead; candidate will be an individual contributor. Is he/she interested in this role? Is he/she ready to work on a monolithic application - Java, JSP, J2EE? This is not the newest latest and greatest tech stack. Need candidates that will interview onsite from a RT branch. Need Integrated eligibility exp unless an absolute rockstar.

Work Location Options:

• Onsite in MN - highly preferred
• Onsite in WV - highly preferred
• Telecommute

Responsibilities:

• 20% of time developing new enhancements
• 50% of time for support, maintenance and monitoring
• 30% of time to develop fixes for existing production incidents

Ideal Background:

• Strong Java language skills
• Strong SQL skills
• Experience working with SOAP Web services
• Experience working with Integrated Eligibility systems.

Required:

• Ten (10) years of system analysis and programming experience on large scale systems, including working directly with customers to define their needs and product outputs satisfying those needs in a pre-determined time frame;
• Six (6) years of experience designing, documenting, and communicating technical architecture for Java enterprise application development projects;
• Six (6) years of experience architecting and designing scalable, robust, and secure browser-based enterprise applications to support over 2,000 users;
• Three (3) years of experience designing architecture and solutions that includes Web Services, XML, SOAP, object persistence methodologies and application integration;
• Two (2) years of experience developing web-based applications in an integration environment such as Oracle SOA, Corticon, and Weblogic;
• Two (2) years of experience integrating Enterprise Information Portals and systems Integration;
• Three (3) years of experience working with database like DB2 v8, Oracle 12c;

Preferred skills/attributes:

• Experience working with Integrated Eligibility systems.
• Experience upgrading from Java 1.7 to Java 1.
