Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract position runs from August 19th through May 29th, 2027, offering valuable experience and the chance to make a difference throughout the school year.

In this role, you’ll have the chance to collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists, creating and delivering individualized support to help students succeed in all aspects of communication.

Qualifications and Experience Sought:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
• Prior experience working with K-12 students, especially those on the autism spectrum, is preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills

Responsibilities Include:

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for K-12 students
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ unique needs
• Deliver therapy focused on speech, language, social communication, and augmentative and alternative communication as appropriate
• Work closely with families, teachers, and other team members to support student progress
• Maintain thorough documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
