Senior Benefits Analyst - Retirement

Job Description

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Benefits Analyst - Retirement to join a large, growing organization with responsibility for retirement benefit programs across North America. This is an excellent opportunity for a benefits professional who enjoys working with complex data, analyzing plan performance, and supporting the administration and strategy of retirement programs. This hybrid role will work in the Louisville, KY office 3 days per week and work from home 2 days per week.

The successful candidate will play an important role in managing and analyzing retirement programs while partnering with internal stakeholders, plan administrators, vendors, and other benefits professionals. Key Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Support the administration, analysis, and ongoing management of retirement benefit programs across North America.
\n
• Analyze and interpret complex retirement plan data, including participation, contribution, funding, and plan performance information.
\n
• Support both defined contribution (DC) and defined benefit (DB) retirement plans.
\n
• Partner with external retirement plan administrators, consultants, actuaries, recordkeepers, and other vendors.
\n
• Review plan data and reports for accuracy, identify discrepancies, and coordinate resolution of issues.
\n
• Assist with plan audits, compliance activities, regulatory requirements, and required filings.
\n
• Analyze retirement benefit costs and trends and provide meaningful insights to Benefits leadership.
\n
• Prepare reports, presentations, and analytical materials for leadership and internal stakeholders.
\n
• Support plan changes, enhancements, and implementation of new retirement programs or processes.
\n
• Identify opportunities to improve retirement benefits processes, data integrity, reporting, and overall program effectiveness.
\n
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Finance, Legal, and other cross-functional teams.
\n
• Stay current on retirement benefits regulations, industry practices, and emerging trends.
\n
• Provide analytical support for special projects and other strategic benefits initiatives.

Qualifications

\n

\n
• Bachelor's degree required.
\n
• Minimum of 4 years of strong experience working with defined contribution and defined benefit retirement plans.
\n
• Highly analytical with the ability to work comfortably with large and complex datasets.
\n
• Strong understanding of retirement plan administration, processes, and terminology.
\n
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
\n
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies or potential issues in data.
\n
• Ability to communicate complex benefits information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
\n
• Experience working with retirement plan vendors, consultants, and third-party administrators.
\n
