Physician Assistant Pediatric PMR Physical Medicine & Rehab

Job Overview The Pediatric Physiatry Physician Assistant works with pediatric patients in a physical medicine & rehabilitation setting, assisting, monitoring, and managing day-to-day patient needs under the supervision of a physician. The role performs duties and responsibilities of a Physician Assistant in accordance with customary and generally accepted medical standards. Work Settings Mon–Fri days at the Neptune office across from KHOV at JSUMC and the satellite office at Jackson Health Village, with occasional inpatient rounding. Additional Duties Stat consults for trauma and concussion screenings for local schools Required Qualifications Successful completion of an approved physician assistant program accredited by the AMA Council on Medical Education Physician Assistant License Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants BLS AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite Preferred Qualifications Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification #J-18808-Ljbffr Hackensack Meridian Health Inc.
